Raised in rural Idaho,I was blessed with excellent health thanks to my amazing parents who ensured I had nourishing meals from scratch using real and simple ingredients. My mother even bought a goat to supplement my nutrition with raw milk in infancy!
Early into college, my health took a turn. I tried all kinds of things until unskillful veganism landed me at death’s door. I read Deep Nutrition and Nourishing Traditions, took to the kitchen, and in under six months my metabolic, dental, and mental illnesses dissolved. Achieved not through a shortcut or miracle cure, but by returning to the ancestral wisdom of Traditional Food.
Good Food Community Kitchen exists because we’ve seen what quality food can do for individuals, families, and entire communities. The way we feed ourselves each day influences our genetic expression, and that of our children and future generations before they are even conceived. At Good Food our aim is to make truly clean and bioavailable nourishment more accessible, to spread the wisdom behind it, and to build community around something deeply human: preparing meals and eating well, together.
