I am Selina Rai, a Nutrition Therapist, Natural Nutrition Chef, BHCN, and Holistic Lifestyle Educator devoted to food as medicine and nourishment as a sacred, relational act. I was born and raised in Nepal, a Himalayan country, where I grew up deeply connected to the land—eating local foods, harvesting fresh vegetables and fruits, and learning the language of food through taste, smell, and presence.
From an early age, I spent time both in the kitchen and in the earth—digging produce from the soil, observing the elders in my family, and learning from my grandmother, mother, and aunties. The aromas of home-cooked meals, the slow simmer of pots, teas brewed throughout the day, and the quiet rhythms of ancestral cooking shaped my understanding of nourishment as care, memory, ceremony, and community.
Today, I bridge ancestral wisdom with modern nutritional science, with a focus on gut health, hormone balance, fasting, and mindfulness. My work weaves in ceremonial cacao and herbal teas, honoring plants as gentle teachers and allies for presence, balance, connection, and intentional nourishment. Through this nonprofit vision, we are creating spaces for nourishment, learning, and community building—spaces that cultivate resilience, embodied well-being, and reconnection to food, self, and one another. I serve individuals, communities, and fellow healers locally and internationally, offering food and ritual as pathways toward balance, dignity, and belonging.
